✹ Infant care (Taking care of baby so you can rest, shower, etc)
✹ Encouraging and supporting the mother’s physical recovery (rest, hydration, nutrition, etc)
Emotional Support:
✹ Offering a non-judgmental listening ear
✹ Providing reassurance and guidance during emotional adjustments
✹ Supporting the mental well-being of both parents
Educational Support:
✹ Teaching newborn care
✹ Providing evidence-based information on postpartum recovery
✹ Offering guidance on family adjustment and sibling integration
There is no wrong time to book postpartum support. That said, reaching out as early as possible (often during pregnancy) helps ensure availability and allows you to secure the amount of support you’re hoping for. Even if you’re already postpartum, support can still be incredibly beneficial at any stage of your healing and adjustment. If I am fully booked, I will provide referrals to trusted local postpartum doulas!
Each family’s postpartum season is unique. Some families feel supported within a few weeks, while others benefit from walking together for up to three months. I’m happy to work with your needs to ensure you and your family feel cared for during this season!
Yes! Depending on my availability, I will extend with families based on their situation. This can always be discussed!
I am based in Strongsville, Ohio and I serve families within a 45 minute radius. For families outside this range, a travel fee may apply. I’m always happy to discuss options and referrals if needed.
Daytime postpartum support is offered primarily through packages, which provide families with a set number of support hours to use in a way that best fits their needs. Daytime support can also be booked by a custom number of hours for families who prefer more flexibility. Overnight support is offered at an hourly rate.
Yes! I do offer overnight postpartum support. Overnight care is designed to support both baby and parents by providing newborn care, feeding support (yes- bottle AND breastfeeding), and light housework to make your days run smoother. Overnight support is offered at an hourly rate.
I am a certified Postpartum Doula through Childbirth International, CPR certified, and trained as a Breastfeeding Counselor through Leslie Owen’s Lactation Launchpad.
